personalised gift ideas

I hope my kids are never going to read this ... I'm trying to collect some cute pictures of my 5-year-old twins to make some kind of gift with it like a personalised diary oder photo calendar for their gran. Just something for them to give away to add to the crap (I'm sorry), they're going to make in kindergarten.
Somehow I think a calendar is boring but my horizon isn't just far enough at the moment to think about something more original.
Any ideas?

Glasses case
Shopping bag
Cushions (although who'd want to sit on pictures of their loved ones faces I don't know)
Just a nice canvas print?

What about using it to make a personalised 2018 Calendar? A big one where each month is on its own page - my dad loves calendars are we did it for him one year. He loved it so much it's still up next to the new one!!!

Last few years we have done fridge magnets, coasters, glasses cleaning cloths
