Christmas box?

I’ve got a few presents for my friend to wrap that are awkward shapes so I need a box to put them in. To save on wrapping paper, I thought about a box that’s decorated for Christmas. Is there such a thing? Where from? And if not, what do you use?

Matalan had some in their 3 for 2 offer. I think M&S have them too.

Or there's gift bags instead.

Mumofboys89 · 19/11/2017 21:11

I think matalan had some last year

Ooooh x post!

Gift bag, piece of crumpled gold tissue paper over the top of the pressie, and a bit of tape to keep bag closed.

TKMaxx/HomeSense do gorgeous boxes.
Well made and solid.

I used to buy for the Christmas Eve Hamper and the DC kept them to put things in under the bed.

This year I bought DD a big Christmas tote bag (plastic coated oilcloth type) and a reinforced giftbag for DS.
She will keep her bag for socks or tights etc.

They have new dressing gowns and PJs so their bags or boxes are bigger.

Ooo like one of the matalan ones

The iI found one for my Dad a few years ago in Card Factory

EmilyChambers79 · 20/11/2017 14:50

Poundland and Card factory had lots of different designs and sizes in today.

I always wrap tissue paper round then box them to add an extra layer.

ALemonyPea · 20/11/2017 14:58

I’ve seen a lot of Christmas boxes in independent pop up Christmas shops. Think the trend of Christmas Eve boxes has spurred this along.

Spam88 · 20/11/2017 15:17

Card shops tend to have quite a selection.

ilovechocolates · 20/11/2017 16:27

Thanks I’ve been looking on internet and stationery shops have them too. I’ve now found several lovely ones, thanks for your help!!

Could you also just wrap a cardboard box in Christmas paper?
