Christmas tesco delivery

Hi all.
Can someone please talk me through putting my christmas delivery for tesco on the system now and moving it to a dec 23 delivery when they become available. I am hopeless with online stuff and dont want a massive delivery to be delivered by mistake. I have signed up and paid for their priority pass so it seems they become available next sunday.
I normally have sainsburys deliveries but we are away at a cottage this year and i have now found out they dont deliver in that area as it is quite remote.
I dont know much about tesco christmas food so any recommendations v welcome.

In the past you could start a list and put all your Christmas food in there and add it all to the basket straight away but they have decided to remove that very helpful feature ! Just log in next Sunday and book your slot then add a couple of items to it and check out. You can then go back as many times as you like to add to the basket

Oh okay. What a shame they have changed it. I was hoping to tick that off my list this week as going away on 4th dec for a week.

I would book a delivery today for the last date available (so 3 weeks' time). Then put a reminder in your phone to go online at midnight 25/26th (not 26/27th) and anebd the order to 23rd Dec.

I've got two orders in my Sainsbury's account waiting for 21st and 23rd Dec slots. Sainsbury's also text the day before to remind you, which is good. Not sure if Tesco do, but the phone reminder should work!

I was on the website today and they are working on being able to create new lists but doubt it will be in time for next weekend when the slots open

Thanks both . I am scared to do as you say noword in case i get it wrong and some lucky person in a random cottage gets my delivery 3 weeks early !
I did a trial run on tesco website today for a home del this week but I couldnt find the option to add a new address despite following the instructions on tesco website ! I wasnt going to actually change it just wanted to make sure i knew how to do it before the booking day arrives.
Honestly i am hopeless ! If push comes to shove i will just have to get out v early on the saturday and drive to the nearest supermarket which is 20 miles away !
I am definitely staying home next year
