6 year old girl

I’m struggling a bit with this one so was hoping people might have some suggestions!

I have a 6yo girl to buy for - I’ve already bought her a few crafty bits and a book but I’m stumped for what else to get. I was thinking maybe a game of some sort, but she doesn’t have any siblings so maybe something she can play with independently would be better. We don’t see much of her so I’m not too sure of her interests, except that she was big into Trolls a couple of months ago.

I’m only looking to spend another £10-15. Thanks in advance!

My 6 yo DD is really into LOL surprose dolls (£8), Hatchimals and all things unicorns. Could you ask her parents perhaps?

Bits of jewellery (from accessorise or Claire’s) or a child’s jewellery box?

meanapparently · 16/11/2017 19:24

Has she seen the my little pony movie?

Munxx · 16/11/2017 19:27

Science kit?

PinotAndPlaydough · 16/11/2017 21:18

My six year old girls would love books, any craft sets or things that can be made (dough Vinci, hama beads, make your own jewellery type things), board games (will her mum and dad play?), lego, science sets, a little basket with a film and some treats in, puzzles (100+ pieces). Tiger is a brilliant shop for this age.

Dressing up? Got dd the Troll dress up outfit this week, Tesco £16 I think.

My DD is 6 and a safe bet for her is always beanie boos. She loves playing Uno at the moment, both with her brother and us.

These are all great ideas, thank you! Going shopping tomorrow so will see what I can find ☺️

My Little Pony monopoly, Trolls jigsaw, books, science kit (they do pink glittery types too), hatchimals, shopkins, smiggle, jojo bow maker.

Jaffalong · 16/11/2017 22:02

Hobby craft sells a giant box of 50 gel pens for £5 & also a box of Sharpie style pens for £5 too. Add paper, colouring books and some crafty bits and wrap individually so she'll have lots of packages to open.

TheAnswerPrancer · 16/11/2017 22:11

Echo dots are £35 at the moment.

Munxx · 17/11/2017 19:16

Please don't get a pink glittery science kit.....

Rainbowandraindrops67 · 17/11/2017 23:28

Munx - why not i read that and thought a good idea.

Grimmfebruary · 17/11/2017 23:35

Lottie doll?

BelleandBeast · 17/11/2017 23:37

LOL or Shoppie shopkins doll?

Shopkins tall mall is popular in our house

GruffaloPants · 17/11/2017 23:37

My 6yo DD would love a (normal) science kit or magic set. She is crazy about Trolls and LOL dolls.

GruffaloPants · 17/11/2017 23:41

Or how about the Trolls soundtrack CD? I have a feeling it will be DD's favourite present.

Pink glittery science kits kind of give out the message that normal science isn't for girls. Girls can't have "proper" science. They can only have bubblegum scented, butterfly covered, whimsical science.

Nonotmenori · 17/11/2017 23:49

My 6yr old is getting Lucy the dog, kids kindle and some barbie limo that fits about 4 dolls.
