Christmas crackers

This year I would really like to personalise Christmas crackers by buying or making ones you can put your own present in. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've had a quick google but haven't yet found anything that jumps out at me!

Ive used kits from hobbycraft. They worked well.

Alternatively, you could save up loo rolls, buy the snappers, and use your own paper etc

I do this for a pre-Christmas boozy meal with friends. I wait until the standard supermarket ones are half price, normally £2-4, and dismantle & rebuild them. The DIY kits can be quite pricey.

Thanks for the ideas I think I’ll have to tune into my creative side which is a challenge at times Smile

I tried this one year and failed dismally, Even with a kit they would keep popping open. However I have two left hands when t comes to anything practical. To such an extent my Mil gave up try to teach me to make a greaseproof paper icing bag and told me to go and buy a nylon one instead
