I'm looking at Lego boost for my just 9 year old son. He asked for a lego Tecnic set that's for age 11+. He has enjoyed 10+ technic sets before. He has no devices of any sort and did mention an x box but I would prefer him to stick with lego not technology for another year or so. All of his friends have x boxes and switches and so on so I worry that he'll be a bit left behind, though not worried so much that I want him to have one. I wondered if Lego Boost might be a bit of a half way point in that he will use my tablet with it. Otoh if he doesn't enjoy it that'll put a damper on Christmas Day. Any experience of lego Boost?
