I know I read it on here recently but I can't find the thread. I'm looking for ideas to put on a to do list for the kids throughout December. Things like put the tree up, go to panto, donate a toy to charity. Just little things that make the season special, thank you Smile

Eat a mince pie
Write a letter to Father Christmas
Go carol singing
Put food out for the birds
Take a family photo

Make salt dough tree decorations and then paint them (2 activities so time to dry out)
Writing and making cards
Garden centre visits to see the lights and decorations.
Hot chocolate and marshmallows
Winter walks
New Woolies for the above
Choosing party outfits.
Carol service
Xmas dvds
In xmas Pyjamas
Letting a child have a small budget to choose their own presents for family or friends
Tree decorating
Paper chains (get the ones with a label to pull off not the lick and stick)
Ice skating
Panto
Late night shopping somewhere with good lights.
A local country park might have Christmas event.
A Christmas Fayre.

Gather pinecones and then glitter them up
Watch a DVD with popcorn
Watch a DVD with chocolate/ sweets
Make a Christmas cake / cookies
Have a little Christmas party for a few friends (or teddies if you'd rather not have lots of extra little ones in your house!!)
Go out and collect holly / ivy and decorate the fireplace / table
Go to the cinema and watch a movie ( kids club for £2 or so in holidays)
