Is there a thread about what and when the JL advert Christmas ad will be on?

I saw a link to it on Facebook as it's supposedly been leaked out already... i watched the first 5 seconds and turned it off as I didn't want to ruin my surprise of seeing it on TV (that's a bit mad I know

I thought they might have moved away from animals this year. I do love the suspense. Wasn't keen on last years

The advert is set to debut soon, with rumours that it’ll appear on screen either next Thursday (Nov 9) like last year’s effort or next Friday (Nov 10) like all the previous years.

I've seen the fox and mouse one! It's an old animation from about 2010 and and is not John Lewis!

As PP have said, the fox and mouse one is not the JL ad.

I’ve read a few ‘rumours’ (won’t spoil it for anyone) but I believe it’ll be released towards the end of the week. Could even be as early as Wednesday.

In 2014 the penguin advert came out today (6th Nov), which was a Thursday.

No idea if it’s JL or not, but it seems likely based on what I’ve read. Taking it with a pinch of salt though after Aldi’s Kevin the Carrot twitter account from last year.
