"Lego" bricks on Ali Express

I know they are not going to be as good as the real thing but DS has had his heart set on a discontinued lego star wars set for a year now! Its €300 or more on Amazon, so that's not going to happen; I can get a mock lego one for a fraction of the price. Has anyone experience of Lepin bricks from AliExpress?

I wouldn't recommend Lepin, due to a review I recently read that stated some of the parts were dirty and/or faulty, and some parts were missing. This was a review on the Millennium Falcon, which is indeed a retired Star Wars LEGO set which is sought after by many adult fans of LEGO (aka AFOLs).

The review had some rather fascinating information on the process of making the bricks, too. Will have a look for it!

We ordered a set, it arrived promptly, looks great and we've put all of the bags into a nice Christmas box with the glossy instruction book wrapped up.

It looks great as a gift and will report back on build quality in the NY. DS will be delighted with it, the Lego version he coveted was silly money and he thinks there's no chance of him ever owning it. I love Lego but the prices are ridiculous.

Also that review is for the Super Star Destroyer, not the Millenium Falcon. Blush Apologies for the mistake!
