Christmas Cake for beginners!

So I’ve never made a Christmas cake. I’m a pretty good baker but have never attempted one for some reason. My MIL makes a fab one and I’m afraid mine will take like muck in comparison! Anyway am I too late to start? Does anyone have a Christmas cake for beginners recipe

I am a pretty good baker (if I say so myself ) and have been making Christmas cakes for a good 20 years. I have tried Delia's, Nigella's, Hairy bikers etc and I have to say that Sainsbury's 5 ingredient cake is absolutely the easiest cake ever and tastes great.
