Yep. That's what happened to a friend of mine Whistle

PocoyoandEllie · 02/11/2017 14:13

I had ordered the blue boris fingerling on pre order from very but really want the black one as its called finn and similar to surname. I am aware I am being mental as he will only just have turned 3 and won’t have a clue Confused

JustWhat · 02/11/2017 14:17

Can’t you buy the amazon one and cancel it poco?

Thank you handmade, but my nearest smyths is about 12 miles away and i’m currently stuck at home recovering from an op...Sad

spellingstress · 02/11/2017 14:19

Just found a 6 pink and turquoise fingerlings in my local Tesco!
Now, which colour to get for dd??

OhCobblers · 02/11/2017 14:21

I've always managed to pick up some amazing bargains and introductions on these threads over the years! Thanks so much and I hope to be able to add soon.

I knew nothing about fingerlings but have ordered 2 !! Looking for advice to see whether a 10 year old boy would be interested? His sister will get one which might cause a problem if he doesn't, but he also loves the beanie boos so perhaps might go down well?

Also he does love his Playmobil so I would also love to hear about the bargain link I keep reading about?! Thank you!

handmademitlove · 02/11/2017 14:23

JustWhat they are not due in until 24th Nov I'd that makes a difference? Amazon are due some in on the 10th Nov as well - definitely turquoise, maybe other colours..

spellingstress · 02/11/2017 14:25

cobblers I’m just getting a fingerling for dd (6), I don’t think my 10 year old ds will be too bothered (hope I’m not wrong about that!!)

IHeartKingThistle · 02/11/2017 14:34

Any H+M codes knocking about? The 25% off one item one doesn't really help me as I'm just buying several beanie hats for my beanie-obsessed DD!

NeitherNowtNorSummat01 · 02/11/2017 14:34

Sorry if this has been mentioned, but the Lidl wooden toy sale is on next Thursday. It has some lovely stuff including some really cheap wooden train track (which is compatible with Brio). Last year I got the remote control train and it's about £15 cheaper than the Brio version. Still going strong!

FireflyGirl · 02/11/2017 14:41

@TellMeItsNotTrue postage is free over £50, or free click and collect.

If the glasses aren't included, then it is very misleading and definitely not worth £25!!

TheNotSoGoodWife · 02/11/2017 14:58

Just been into Tesco and tubs of chocolates are 2 for £7

Also found a fingerling 🤗

bigarse1 · 02/11/2017 15:00

@friskybivalves thank you, thank you, thank you! your parcel has arrived safe and sound. I think ive transferred the money across but please do shout if it hasn't appeared! very much appreciated x

Toots38 · 02/11/2017 15:03

Didn't know what fingerling was before I joined this thread, now I need on for DD!
Does anyone know of the science museum do a discount event before xmas? I saw a giant slinky there a while ago and I know she'd love it.

Upandatthem · 02/11/2017 15:16

Ness I have PM'd uou

HouseworkIsASin10 · 02/11/2017 15:21

Debenhams free delivery Code SHA5 works if you add an item from 'Beauty'. I added a Clarins Festive Treats for £9 to get my free postage.

SH3L (mentioned in an earlier thread) didn't work for me.

IHeartKingThistle What about using different email addresses to get the 25% and free delivery each order.

ecofreckle · 02/11/2017 15:56

rockhopper Forest School high five to you!

I second muddy puddles. Durable. You can hat decent prices on ebay.

Llamacorn · 02/11/2017 16:11

Thanks reastie.
Oh how disappointing amazon aren't honouring the price for the raspberry pi - I have one on dds list but it's the animation rainbow one at £90....

Thanks for the Lego women of NASA @traviata - I'm going to see if I can get one.

And thank you to pps who were giving me ideas for my expensive teen at the end of the last thread. She's just had her bedroom done it looks like a frickin instagram post and she unfortunately can't use a lot of smellies as she has sensitive skin so I'm still kinda stuck. Any more ideas greatly appreciated.
And she doesn't like marshmallows weird child

I've just spent a silly amount of money at cult beauty - but they have an amazing free gift of products in a case worth over £300 - including some full sized products so I don't feel too bad now. Dh won't be happy but as I'm still stuck in hospital I don't think he can pick a fight with me over that Grin

Chocolatecake12 · 02/11/2017 16:12

Thank you to the pp who posted about the Debenhams offers in fragrances. I got my dp his favourite for 34% off! Plus they have 10% off their Christmas gift selection too.

Llamacorn · 02/11/2017 16:19

Dd has just phoned saying she was in b&m and bought these sharpies for 50p!!! Even at the £1 that's amazing for 18 - they're the pointy fineliner ones.

SockEatingMonster · 02/11/2017 16:29

Those sharpies are amazing value Llamacorn!

Would your DD like some sort of one-player logic games like Rush Hour currently just £10.99 with free delivery at Argos, or Swish that I seem to remember was recommended on an earlier thread?

The Happy Puzzle Company, also mentioned on earlier threads, has a great search engine where you can select age, budget and number of players.

SockEatingMonster · 02/11/2017 16:30

(Rush Hour is a brilliant game, btw, I love it!)

DieDieFrickenDie · 02/11/2017 16:36

Bugger. I Fingered. Twice.

Grin
DieDieFrickenDie · 02/11/2017 16:46

Right, I'm being serious now to relay Fingerling information:-
I pre ordered the blue and the black on the Smyths website - expected between the 24 Nov - 1 Dec.

These are for collection in a North East store - (that's for a pp who was looking for a black or blue Fingerling in the North East Smile)

Ness1234 · 02/11/2017 16:50

Upandatthem I’ve just you the code for Lakeland.

TheNotSoGoodWife · 02/11/2017 16:55

I an well jel of all you Smythe preorded fingerings Wink

Our nearest is a 90 minute drive (each way) away. I would like a sloth but shall reconcile myself to being grateful for a turquoise Zoe(?) Envy
