silver it's an called "gift list lite" if you search gift list, there's a few to choose from. I liked this because you can set budgets too

Freezingwinter · 05/11/2017 09:04

Hi all.
I'm looking to get a build a bear teddy bear plus clothes for DS for Christmas.
Does anyone know if build a bear do discount days, or any codes lying around please?
He wants to build the bear himself in the shop, but I'd be happy to buy clothes online!

AtSea1979 · 05/11/2017 09:06

borris the fingerlings are suppose to interact with each other so it's probably best to have more than one.

mummymilkfloat · 05/11/2017 09:06

You can buy build a bear vouchers at Costco that works out cheaper, we’re going to do it to take my daughter for her birthday!

m.costco.co.uk/view/p/build-a-bear-2-x-25-gift-e-card-ticket-197833

You don’t need to be a member to buy online, hope that helps!

mummymilkfloat · 05/11/2017 09:08

Also for those looking for couple gifts I’ve bought some of these:
www.buyagift.co.uk/food-and-drink/smartbox-by-buyagift/taste-of-italy-smartbox-by-buyagift-br-10749545.aspx

3 courses plus wine for 2 at Bella italia/prezzo/zizzi for £30 but they often have 25% off or even better use someone’s referral from the referral thread and get £15 off!

jocktamsonsbairn · 05/11/2017 09:12

Managed to get an Xbox one elite wireless controller on Amazon prime for DS for £108.99 - a new one which seems to be around £160-£180 normally. Was going to link but it keeps showing my name and address!

beepbeep · 05/11/2017 09:13

Freezing - a lot of the outlets (like McArthurGlen) have a Build A Bear shop and they are usually pretty cheap - they have current stock - just cheaper!

Freezingwinter · 05/11/2017 09:15

Thank you for the Costco link, I think I'm only going to be spending about 35-40 though so not sure if it's worth doing. I suppose I could keep the leftover voucher for future use though!
I actually really wanted to go to Mcarthur glen but it's such a trek and not sure if I can butter dh to take me lol Grin

LostMyRubySlippers · 05/11/2017 09:17

freezing you can build a bear vouchers with 25% off at zeek, plus a further discount if you’ve not used zeek before- I posted a link on the referral thread yest which gives £3 off first zeek order

LostMyRubySlippers · 05/11/2017 09:19

Or there are other new customer offers for zeek too I think

LostMyRubySlippers · 05/11/2017 09:22

Code 2VCRBX gives £5 off first zeek order (not a referral)

LostMyRubySlippers · 05/11/2017 09:23

So if you used the code above you could get £25 build a bear voucher for £14
Sorry for multiple posts!! Blush

Barbeasty · 05/11/2017 09:27

Wiifitmama they sell them on the Traidcraft shop website as well, so worth looking for a code for them. I haven't had their catalogue this year, but it tends to have some sort of code in it so there might be some floating around.

NoWordForFluffy · 05/11/2017 09:28

There's usually about £5 cash back via Quidco for new Zeek customers too. Though it may not stack with other offers.

Annwithnoe · 05/11/2017 09:52

Vjg13 114683 gives 10% off £30, 115632 gives 15% off £50 and 116526 gives 20% off £70 (Lisa Angel)

£60 voucher off naked wines using code LAGL48 and password ASP32XYN You get 12 bottles of wine for £48

I want to buy a nice, good quality woolly jumper for DH. Not a Christmas jumper just a plain one. I think he needs something more hard wearing than cashmere but nicer than his usual 100% acrylic. Can anyone advise on what I should look for and of course where to find a good bargain? Thanks

Annwithnoe · 05/11/2017 09:55

Do you think there's still time to order from Ali express? There's been various questions about OG dolls and there are lots of outfits and accessories on Ali that could pad out a gift. Just a thought.

cookiefiend · 05/11/2017 10:07

I'd say you'd most likely still be able to get things from Ali express. Most stuff arrives quite fast. I wouldn't buy anything you absolutely were counting on, without a back up plan. But if you jut want extra bits and pieces you'd most likely get most of it.

Youcantscaremeihavechildren · 05/11/2017 10:10

Mummymilkfloat thanks so much for that idea, my parents sorted with a meal out, got it for £15 so just will add a few italian bits to a hamper and all sorted!

I need to do a list of whats left, DH still to get for and his parents, they live in Ireland so can't do the usual vouchers or paying for a day out thing.
They have everythibg they need but theres no way we will get away with a token present unless its high end designer...labels are king as far as they are concerned...

ReluctantCamper · 05/11/2017 10:16

thanks for the very code Lostmyrubyslippers, just opened a new account and got DS's much desired airhogs thunder trax for £30 instead of £60. yay!

i opened an account 2 years ago to buy an extremely extravagant lego set for DS with a similar discount but it seemed to have forgotten about me which was good.

Wellhellothere1 · 05/11/2017 10:22

Sorry if this has been answered previously but I'm looking for bargainous coffee machine for my mum's Christmas. Maybe a Nespresso one? Anyone spotted a bargain? Thanks 🎄☕

BlackandWhitepostcards · 05/11/2017 10:50

Thank you so much for the pizza buy a gift idea mummymilkfloat. Just bought for two very-hard-to-buy-for couples! Referral gives £10 off not £15 at the moment but still a massive bargain and great gift!

BlackandWhitepostcards · 05/11/2017 10:56

Youcantscareme I just noticed that you had the pizza buy a gift for £15. How did you get that discount? I got mine for £20.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 05/11/2017 11:01

Picked up my Sloth fingerling yesterday at Smyths. The guy putting the code in guessed as Hatchimal first, then Fingerling - he said it’s making up most of the orders!

DS1 will be 11 soon and has no idea what he wants. He’s getting a basic phone for his birthday two weeks before Christmas, but not sure what else to ask for. He’s muttered a bit about a drone - any decent cheapish ones as it will likely be a fad?

VamonosPest · 05/11/2017 11:01

Elizabethtailored I have just had an email from amazon to say that the Playmobil 123 night train is down from £34.99 to £20.99.
