Would anyone know if this would be suitable for a 9 year old? My son is desperate for one but I'm not sure if it's a bit babyish? He says it can text people does anyone know if that's correct?

Ds had one when he was 5 but he’s not interested in it anymore at 8. His can’t text people, but there may be a newer version?

There's a similar one called kurio which does have a messaging feature but I don't think the kidizoom one does
