Gift for staff at school

All the teachers and staff at our school deserve a thanks at Christmas. Last year I bought loads of fruit T bags for the staff room. I can't get round them all to thank them so need a joint gift I can put in the staff room.

Any ideas?

Choc biscuits or choc cakes, yum!

And the gesture is much appreciated :)

Do you bake? Home baking goes down a storm!

Naice stationery? A hamper of interesting pens (in marking colours), board markers, Post-Its, stapler that actually staples, brightly coloured drawing pins, stickers, stamps, tape etc.

Fruit basket?

Chocolate or cake in the staff room makes every day better.

This year I've decided to do a hamper for the staff room, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and some nice m&s biscuits (any recommendations?)

The pens and stationary sound nice and they have a bag of paper mate mini ball point pens in multiple colours in poundland.

I like the idea of a hamper for the staff room, for those who do that how far in advance of the end of term do you take it in? At the start of the last week so they can enjoy it before they break up?

PhatSlag · 05/10/2017 17:29

We are so not going to get excited about a fruit basket. It’s biscuits and chocolate all the way in our staff room!

MrsHathaway · 05/10/2017 17:36

Grin even by the tenth or twelfth?

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 05/10/2017 19:14

I'm in a nursery but we would also love biscuits, tea, stationary bits, cake, even things like pringles or savoury bits! And fruit lots of us love fruit and should be avoiding the treats as am on slimming world I would say about a week-10 days before break up to be able to make the most of it!

SimplyNigella · 05/10/2017 19:29

DS breaks up on Wednesday 20th so it sounds like the Monday of the week before would be a good time.

PhatSlag · 05/10/2017 19:50

Honestly, whatever’s up there it’s gone in a day Grin

mummmy2017 · 05/10/2017 19:59

Cook a massive batch of Sauasage rolls and take them in warm for coffee time, our school loved it

habibihabibi · 06/10/2017 04:19

Oh brilliant! what I would give for a sausage roll on
cold December morning when you have to get through the day with a bit of a hangover. Try to get them there on the day after the staff Xmas party !

BanyanTree · 06/10/2017 06:36

I am going to bake for them but apparently they are all very health conscious.

I volunteer in a school - we'd need a never-ending supply of milk!

newdaylight · 06/10/2017 06:47

Gin

GutterStar · 06/10/2017 06:55

We’ve got a mum who brings us homemade curry and rice at lunchtime on the last day of term. It’s great!

secondhoneymoon · 06/10/2017 08:52

Hamper of Christmas goodies (mini Stollen, Lebkuchen from Lidl or Aldi, mince pies, bag of satsumas for the health conscious
