My 8 year old dd has asked for a Hatchimal this year. I guess I'm lucky she wants it this year and not last year!! I'm just wondering what people's dc thought of them?

Dd was 9 when she got her hatchimal. I'd be surprised if she played with it for more than a few minutes once it hatched. Complete waste of money.

I'm sure they are a waste of money but aren't most Christmas toys?
