wisest the fairytale hairdresser series are beautiful books. My dds are 5 and 8 and both love them. You can get a set of 3 from book people for about £5.

Iwannasnack · 01/10/2017 19:06

Feeling smug that Ocado like me enough to give me the 5th. Realistically that just means I spend too much money there.
Had a bad night with teething DS and I seem to have bought a light box early this morning. No idea who that’s for!!

Can anyone link to the radio times offer? I missed it but it would be good for PIL (meaning they can’t then say they buy the daily fail for the TV guide)

imip · 01/10/2017 19:07

reastie, the wallpaper is indeed lovely....

WisestIsShe · 01/10/2017 19:10

Thanks strawberry and nocuts. I really like the look of the fairytale hairdresser, I think the rainbow magic books might be a bit too hard ATM. It's oos on the book people at the moment so I'll shop around.

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 01/10/2017 19:18

Jangle it's the date you're allowed to book them from - i.e. for the special few Grin they can access the Christmas booking slots from 5th Oct, meaning they have the best choice of delivery slots - getting their shopping delivered on Christmas Eve etc. Then it's clearly on a sliding scale of how much Ocado give a festive crap about your business, with the people getting the access later in October being left with the less good slots - i.e. no delivery slots left past 20th Dec or something like that.

I had no idea Ocado had a scoring system! I'm a medium friend, apparently. Not the best, not the worst. Story of my life Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 01/10/2017 19:22

I have no idea why I even got 12th as I only order once in a blue moon. Maybe flirting with me a bit, but isn't sure if they want to be more than friends with benefits?! 😂

RaeSkywalker · 01/10/2017 19:31

Just ordered a light box! Thank you!

NoWordForFluffy · 01/10/2017 19:37

Asda does a light box for £10 by the way.

JangleJangleJangle · 01/10/2017 19:39

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual - that makes perfect sense. I am an idiot 😂😂😂

Kraggle · 01/10/2017 19:50

Ocado hate me, I got the 26th!

mayathebee · 01/10/2017 19:52

JangleJangleJangle her grandad bought the badge maker for her but I'm pretty sure it's this one. I don't think he paid that much for it but, to be honest, it's been worth that. It gets used a lot by both DD1, DD2 and their friends. I've bought extra badges for it. It was a bit stiff to start with but even the four year old can manage it.

Thanks for the other suggestions - she'd love the card or magnet kits and some fimo - but I think it's the machine/gadget bit of the badge maker she likes. I was looking at coolcardz - are their card laminating workstations any good?

FaFoutis · 01/10/2017 19:59

We have the coolcardz laminator thing- it has been used a lot and works fine. DD loves it but the refills were expensive when I last looked for them.

mayathebee · 01/10/2017 20:03

Thanks FaFoutis - if it works then I think I'll add it to her list and just encourage her not to rush through all the bits.

FaFoutis · 01/10/2017 20:06

I got it for about £7 black Friday I think, from Amazon.

AlfieTheRailwayCat · 01/10/2017 20:15

Flavourly have just sent out a multi use code CANVENT17 making their beer advent calendar £59 delivered instead of £72. Not sure if it's already been mentioned!

peachy94 · 01/10/2017 20:40

Wooo got the £18 Lego for DS and found a box of 10 spot books for £20 for DD in tk maxx. MIL has sorted presents for both kids so I'm feeling well on track. Have I missed a link somewhere?! I want all the lovely Molton Brown, L'occitane, Body Shop and Ted Baker products for a quid stuff too please 😁

singadream · 01/10/2017 20:50

How do you know how much Ocado likes you?

Jennywallpaper · 01/10/2017 20:51

What's the chances of smyths doing any more money off or sales before Christmas?
DS is wanting one of the imaginext playsets and it only seems to be smyths that sell it, id have to go and get it tomorrow while he's at nursery if I want to get it before the savings finish.
Is the saving still on tomorrow actually??

Ness1234 · 01/10/2017 20:59

Not a very bargainous code but 15% off Sophie Conrad with the code welcome if you spend £100

WhyamIBoredathome · 01/10/2017 21:04

Can anyone help me out, I'm looking for an adult ladies hoody, with that white furry stuff on the inside. Ideally for a bargain price but not bargainous is also fine. If I search I just seem to find kids ones but my kids already have one and I want a snuggly hoody for me Grin

MrsGotobed · 01/10/2017 21:08

Saltrock are good for hoodies and often have sales and codes.

In fact I have a lovely snuggly one from the mens range in size small that I'm looking forward to this winter!

1stTimeMama · 01/10/2017 21:20

Does anyone have a BuyAGift referral? I need to place an order and thought I'd ask.

AlwaysOldBeforeMyTime · 01/10/2017 21:25

I’d second saltrock for hoodies, DH and I both love ours and they were both complete bargains 😁

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 01/10/2017 21:25

K'nex set that builds 70 models currently £31.99 instead of £61.99 (though I have no idea if they've ever actually sold it for £61.99!)

Am deliberating over it!

WhyamIBoredathome · 01/10/2017 22:03

I've just looked at the Red magazine subscription with the £50 gift bag. Does anyone know what's in the gift please? I can't find a list anywhere.
