Argos 3 for 2

I have seen on loads of money saving sites on Facebook that the Argos 3 for 2 on toys starts tomorrow. They could be wrong obviously but worth a look.

Have just seen it in the press that it does start tomorrow.

I've just spent a fortune 😱 But actually have got some toys that the dc wanted (particularly pleased to get Lego Boost as that won't be reduced anywhere else) and impulse bought a trampoline for the freebie. Our one is old and knackered so we do technically 'need' it but my goodness. Not how I pictured spending the morning.

I spent £150 before breakfast. 😂
I got dd 9 presents, mainly Lego. But also got everything she has asked for to date. 😁😁😁

I only needed 3 presents and so got them in the 3 for 2. Was chuffed as I'm now officially done for my DD's unless I find anymore amazing bargains

I've reserved mine to pick up and pay tomorrow. I've just noticed that the total to pay part of the reservation has not taken the value of the third item off- has anybody had this? Do you know if it will be discounted on collection?

I'm currently trying to figure out whether I can find a third thing to get a good discount on for my PJ Masks Headquarters - if I could just get it at Smyths for £40 rather than £50 that'd sort me out nicely!

I think it's automatically deducted at the till.

Apparently the day the 3 for 2 event started the prices were put up massively

I saw that all over Facebook too. The stuff I needed was the same price as it was before and so I still bought it. From reading lots about it (thanks insomnia!) it seems the 3 for 2 was based on actual catalog prices as oppose to internet prices that go up and down.

I guess it's best to check everywhere for the best deal and price.

I ordered 9 things and only one of them went up in price but it went up from £34.99 to £44.99 so a very significant jump.

Good reminder to check prices! I'll do myself a list and see where the best deals are at.

I have done my first order (saved £50 :D) now organising smaller bits in ridiculous batches to maximise savings. My DH thinks I'm a loon but why spend £100 on two things and get a tenner free when if you split it out you save five times that?!
