MIL have offered to buy scooters for Dd who's 2 1/2 and DS who's 6 for Christmas

Can anyone recommend any? Ds is tall (128cm) and DD 93cm

She hasn't given us an idea of budget but we'd offer to contribute towards them if they were over what she was thinking

Mini micro for the 2.5 yr old and a maxi micro for the 6yo. Quite pricey but brilliantly made. Sometimes a code gets them cheaper on JoJoMamanBebe website (I got 15% off that way) or there is a German website (de rollen I think) oft mentioned on MN which sells them for less than the UK.

You're looking at about 60 for the mini and 90 for the maxi (with discount).

I second the vote for the micro scooters, they really last.

Micro scooters without a doubt. Eldest Is just outgrowing her mini micro after 4 years

Should I get both the maxi ones then or will it be too big for a 2 1/2 year old?

I have a feeling the micro now comes with an extendable handle - may be worth checking out

EmGee · 26/09/2017 17:02

Ginger is right - the new mini micro has an extending handle. A maxi will be too big for your 2.5 yr old I think.

Perfect thanks I'll go for the mini for her and micro for him
