Has anyone made theirs?

I usually do mine in October.

I'll be doing my usual Make and Mature BBC good food recipe. It's always a hit.

My fruit has gone into its brandy bath today and will leave it there for around 4 weeks then will make the cake.

I'm planning on trying Mary Berry's Christmas Cake tray bake in a couple of weeks and I'd like to try a Dundee cake too as my Mom likes them.

I haven't found my perfect recipe yet. I'll be trying this one this year, and I might do a trial run of a small cake to see if it works well.
