Hi I have two girls who will be 5 and 2 at Christmas. I've been looking at the our generation tipi in smyths it's £59 so will be £48 when they do the 20% off in September. Just wondering if a tipi is a waste of money.. will they use it? Or it will just be some more Tat that gathers dust?

I had one when my kids were similar ages - it didn't get as much use as I'd hoped tbh. Shame as I love the idea of one.

I was looking into getting one for my dd, but my children are pretty rough and tumble so was worried it would get wrecked very quickly!! Instead we got this www.trespass.com/chateau-kids-play-tent

The Hobbycraft one at £35 is good and not as pricy as some I've seen. It's plain white and can be decorated but I've kept mine white as I'm not very artistic.

Thanks ladies. I bought a tent in home bargains for them for £10! Hope that will suffice

Thanks for mentioning the hobbycraft one- I had been looking at personalised ones on eBay but this has inspired me that maybe I could personalise myself!
Hobbycraft also have decorate your own canvas playhouse currently on offer at £25 in case anyone else is interested

Just posted to you on the bargain thread @Sosie91 - oops!

I see you've bought a tent instead, but just to let you know Mothercare have a tepee reduced from £35 to £20 in their sale. It's quite nice.
