Is this a first for this year?

I got ridiculously excited when having lunch in a local pub today with dh and there was a little table with a vase of fairy lights and a sign proclaimimg " Book now for Christmas ! "
He didnt get it sadly !
So is this a first for xmas 2017 or has anyone else seen similar christmas related signage ?

I've seen it on Facebook for local companies.

It gave me a chance to express a bit of christmas excitement anyway !

I'm sure I've seen one or two, but don't recall exactly where! (Most likely in Glasgow, so I've not paid attention as I've only got 8 weeks until I go back to my normal job, so won't be up there for Christmas!)

We got a call at work in March from the place we went to last year offering a discount if we re-booked for this year by the end of the month. There was a unanimous "no thanks".

Oh dear who was it that bad ?

I didn't go actually (dinner dance, not my cup of tea). By all accounts it was very good, but we do make a point of going somewhere different every year and it felt very pushy. We're voting on this year's choices now .

A hotel I went to at the weekend had a little Christmas set up with Father Christmas chair and presents to advertise booking for christmas! I was astounded they've went that far in July!

I work in a restaurant chain and our Christmas menus have been out since May half term.

Sorry flapjack the lovely little pub in my village has been advertising it's Christmas dinner- book now offer since the beginning of May. DH was when we saw it until I reminded him that when booked for Christmas Day a few years ago in August we took the last available table! (Booked as we got married a few days before Christmas and were going on honeymoon on Boxing Day so wanted it as stress-free as possible).

Wow even though i am a self confessed christmas nut even i am a bit at that !
