Stocking filler type things...

Not technically christmas but thought you lovelies would be the perfect people to ask.

This summer we have 4 really long car journeys and I want to create a fun bags of cheap/fun goodies for each DC. Basically type of thing you get in your stocking.

Eldest is 13- so far I just have X2 different style fidget spinner/cube. Gets v. Badly travel sick so can't give magazines/phone so something he can look at in short bursts.

5&under- need things that don't have hundreds of tiny parts/ make lots of noise.
So far thought of those magnetic drawing pads/ water colour note books.

Any other ideas (especially stuck on eldest)?

Ooh those nail tray things, smuggle sell them. Imperint of face, hand etc

Fuzzy felt for the younger one?

I got some good travel bits in our toy shop the other day - origami set to make safari animals, a travel picture mosaic set, and a travel foil art set. All by Galt, about a fiver each.

Rubix cube type thing for older one?
Audio books?

nellifurtardo · 02/06/2017 07:59

For the youngest, lego figures, stickers, top trumps, slime in a little pot. For the oldest maybe a rubbix cube.

Scratch art book for the younger one, or sticky mosaics.

For the older one do you have a device you could stick an audio book on?

Tiger is your friend. They have the plastic maze with the ball bearing, only one pound at the moment. Rubiks cube. Finger knitting pack etc., postcards to colour in.

When it got too much we would have Chupa challenge. Kids got a Chupa chups lolly and had to suck are far as they could without crunching it. Oh those few moments of silence when stuck in a confined place

I also came on to say TIGER. It is perfect for this.
