Xmas tree - cat wee

My tree smells like cat piss!
Always had a real one and never had this before. Only difference is that it's in a tree stand (with water) rather than a bucket.

Anything I can do? I usually keep it up till 12th night but not sure I can stand it for that long!

It's the water OP. Stick a couple of caps of bleach in there....we were advised to do this anyway with ours and it certainly minimizes that rank water smell.

Ever so pretty! It's a real, classic Christmas tree....I love a mix of colours and mine is also a rainbow of baubles! You can forgive it's stink due to it's good looks. :D

I do love it. The lights are from Woolworths. Bleach installed. We'll see how it goes.
