Help! Freaking out about the turkey!!

Last minute panic as I've had a lot of conflicting advice, please help!

5.5kg turkey in a cool bag full of ice blocks in the garage. Worried it's not cold enough to be left all night?

Also the cooking instructions on the packet says it takes 4 hours 50 mins to cook which seems like a really, really long time??

I've never roasted a turkey before, can you tell??

20 mins per lb then 20 mins extra. Till the juices run clear. Cook early. Theirs no going back if it's raw..

Delia says to leave it in the kitchen overnight. It will be fine

Ha ha thank you! Seems like the cooking time is right then, will stick to the instructions and hope everyone is pissed enough not to notice if it's a bit over done
