Have a frozen 2kg lamb leg, does anyone know how long will this take to defrost in fridge?
Thanks!

I'd say 48 hours at least. It's not for tomorrow is it?

Is it in sealed plastic? If so, submerge it in a sink of cold water and change the water every hour ish, until you go to bed and then put it in the fridge overnight and repeat in the morning. I did that with a 3/7 kilo turkey and it was defrosted by mid morning (but I started a few hours before you)

3.7 kilo turkey.

Just don't put it in fridge, just leave on side to defrost overnight

It's ok it's not for tomorrow, but for lunch on 27th. Just trying to plan ahead and not sure when I should put in fridge to defrost?

On the side overnight, unless your house is really hot at night. In the fridge, maybe 48 hours?

Ok I think I'll put it in the fridge tomorrow afternoon so gives it 48hrs to defrost. Cheers all
