Every year we go and let the dc pick the desert from m&s, it's turned into our little tradition.

We've never been disappointed (even though they usually don't end up being eaten till the 26th)

This year we're going for the salted caramel chocolate cake Smile

nannyj · 21/12/2016 21:29

The white chocolate bomb is lovely.

ZeViteVitchofCwismas · 21/12/2016 21:35

Just been to website to peruse and cant find their deserts Xmas Confused looked in xmas food and they just show massive cakes for huge parties!

Nice idea maybe I should let my DC choose as well - LOVE m and s food.

I always have an m&s treat as i dont like mince pies, christmas pudding or fruit cake! Although i hand make them each year for everyone else! I had the chocolate christmas crackers last year and ordered a chocolate bombe this year x

soundsystem · 21/12/2016 21:39

Crackers are lovely
Chocolate pudding with orange sauce lovely

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 21/12/2016 22:31

We have the salted caramel cake for Boxing Day here and picked up a cranberry jelly instore for Christmas Day which looks fab (and much smaller than the food to order deserts)

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 21/12/2016 22:32

I want salted caramel profiteroles now though!

LlamaDrama · 21/12/2016 22:37

I have got the chocolate cabin with a hidden tree - it's dead cute, but a bit pricey at £20. Couldn't help myself though.

Jungfraujoch · 21/12/2016 22:38

At a friend's last night for dinner and someone bought along the Raspberry and Tahitian Vanilla Pannacotta - omg! Heaven on a plate!

BeastofChristmasIsland · 21/12/2016 22:39

We're doing the M&S dessert run tomorrow. I love the salted caramel profiteroles, last year we had a chocolate and raspberry santa thing as well which was really good.

Dd chose ours yesterday - upside down trifle and chocolate and passion fruit star which looks out of this world.

Already had the orange filled chocolate pudding which was heavenly.

PixieMiss · 22/12/2016 10:58

We have got the yule log, salted caramel and chocolate cheesecake and some white chocolate tree thing.

LottieDoubtie · 22/12/2016 11:27

Had a chocolate cookie desert from m&s last weekend- - a break from tradition perhaps but it was AMAZING

SingaporeSlinky · 22/12/2016 12:59

Toffee meringue roulade is gorgeous, also the raspberry version.
We've gone for the chocolate mountains for Christmas Day

bakingcupcakes · 22/12/2016 13:03

The salted caramel profiteroles aka 'posh profiteroles' are awesome.

Theromanempire · 22/12/2016 13:06

Have got the chocolate pudding with orange sauce for Christmas day. Glad to hear that it is delicious Smile

I did like the look of the chocolate cake thing that looked like a big gold present but it just seemed too big!

gillybeanz · 22/12/2016 13:09

My ds and his gf often have the cheesecake, caramel slightly salted.
It's lovely and so moreish.

dylsmimi · 22/12/2016 13:13

We have the choc Orange pudding. They very cleverly included some of the christmas desserts in the dine in for £10 so then you could taste it and have To buy the bigger versions
The pannecota sounds lovely and I like the look of the chocolate trees - hmm maybe for new year?

BeastofChristmasIsland · 23/12/2016 19:33

We've got the posh profiteroles, a chocolate and raspberry dessert that's shaped like a christmas pudding and the chocolate and passion fruit star thing. Also a tub of their clotted cream and honeycomb ice cream which is lush. Dessert is my favourite part of any meal and I am very much looking forward to eating all of them Xmas Grin

A1Sharon · 23/12/2016 20:41

I'm making Queen of puddings tomorrow, and collection the profiteroles. I bought a big chocolate sponge cake with melted chocolate inside yesterday-looks divine!
Although my favourite bit of christmas dinner will still be the bread sauce and stuffing.

ZeViteVitchofCwismas · 23/12/2016 22:29

i got frozen amaretti in the end but looks nice.

beast killer combination there sounds lovely
