Lego Watch - Rubbish?

My daughter, who's usually really careful with her things, lost her new Lego watch in the space of a week. She's usually so good and hardly ever loses anything. Just wanted to warn people as these are cool watches and my daughter grew attached to it very quickly and is now inconsolable.

Would be interested to hear of mumsnetters' experience with these watches.

We found they clicked apart easily so wont be buying it again

Yes my dd had one about a year ago and the strap broke where it couldn't be clicked back together.

Ok - makes sense. Tried Lego customer service but they're not really engaging with me.

Oh no! I've got ds one for Xmas! Sad

Ours was crap too. The strap never stayed click and the face wouldn't stay attached.

Sorry to hear this, FloatyFlo. Having seen how crestfallen my DD was over losing it, I was glad this wasn't a Christmas present from Santa. It was however a souvenir of a lovely family day. Perhaps you could allow him to only wear it in the house. Not ideal, I know!
