Present ideas for a lively 5yo

My friends son is lovely, but he is so different to mine, and I think I frequently get it wrong with his presents.
My son is not very physical, he loves to play with Lego, or read, he's really such a homebody.

What do active 5yos like to play with please? He's not a sit down and amuse yourself chap, he likes to be moving Smile
He's not into 'characters' or any particular type of toy. He plays with other people a lot, and enjoys that and pretending games, but he's an only child, so I'd like something he can play with by himself really, when he hasn't got friends round.
Budget £25-30

Promise I'm not a spammer, but I came across a catalogue by bright minds - had loads of interesting toys that I think would give you some ideas. I've got a four year old and loved some of the things there.

What about stilts?

PhilODox · 16/12/2016 09:17

Stilts sound like fun! Yes. And definitely something he can play with when on his own, thanks! Grin

What about a Bungee Bouncer - always popular with the younger ones in our family. [Currently £12.92 on Amazon]

Tobar pedal racer

Ooh, those are both fab too!
Those bungee bouncers look like something I should get my DS too, to encourage a bit more movement Grin

Some great ideas, thank you so much!
