How to wrap this present?

I have 32 Papo figures to wrap. Horses/knights/pirates/mutants.

I know I could just put them on display to be found but I'd prefer to wrap them but I don't know how to do it without it being just a big messy jumble.

Does anyone have any ideas? Xmas Smile

Would they fit inside an egg box - or several egg boxes.

Failing that tissue paper is good for smoothing out bumps.

Allalonenow · 13/12/2016 14:42

How big are they?
Would they fit in cardboard tubes from kitchen paper? You could then wrap the tubes to resemble crackers?

OvO · 13/12/2016 14:50

The figures would fit in tubes I think. LOVE that idea. Thank you!

Horses will fit in nothing, buy could just wrap in tissue, good idea. I have plenty that's just been sitting in a cupboard for years!

Knew MNetters would think of something clever. Xmas Grin

For the horses, wrap them in tissue paper. Then make a large wrapping paper cone for each one, push the horse down to the bottom of the cone, pull together the top of the cone and twist it, then secure with ribbon. Would look good done with jewel colours of foil paper.

I'd put them in a gift box.

All, you're a wrapping genius! Xmas Grin

Actually looking forward to wrapping them now. Only ones left to do as I just couldn't figure it out!

Xmas Grin Years of practice!

Try to keep a selection of cardboard tubes, little boxes, pretty containers etc as it gets towards Christmas.

Have a lovely Christmas, and I hope they love their gift.

Do you or any one you know have a shredder? If so you could wrap individually and put in a box of shredded wrapping paper lucky dip style, to make it even more fun?

A very lucky child is getting all those papo figures! My DS would be beside himself with excitement!!

He collects schleich figures and I'm normally boring and wrap them in the Amazon box that they came in! Grin

I paid the princely sum of £10 for them all! They're secondhand - though they look like they've sat unplayable with on a shelf, not a scuff on them.

My local Facebook selling page is amazing. I'm half convinced it run by mumsnetters because it's run right. Grin

Wow!! They cost a fortune full price!

OvO · 13/12/2016 22:55

Schleich dinosaurs have previously bankrupted me so I definitely appreciated the bargain this time. Grin
