I've cracked the Christmas sleeping arrangements!!

Will be 38 weeks pregnant at Christmas so don't want to sleep on the sofa bed with dh. Elderly nan is just too old for the sofa bed and dad is very arthritic so can't go on the sofa bed with mum.

We have two double beds and five adults.

So.... I've booked a hotel room for the night of the 25th and it's going to be for me and DH!! It was only £40, is just five/ten minutes down the road and I can't drink anyway.

Mum feels guilty but I'm not budging - it's going to be bliss!

Yeah it's a hotel that's attached to a pub. Also the pub we went to for our second date

Brilliant idea! But make sure you take some toddler bed mat thingies to put under the sheet as you wouldn't want a bill to replace the mattress if your waters go (I'd recommend these for home too; it saved us the expense of a new mattress when I went into labour with DD!).
