How many presents?

Wow... just counted up and I have 122 presents left to wrap... I've done 10 and thought I was making headway!
In my defence that's 4 adults family members, plus dh and 4 kids, 5 teachers, presents from each child to one another and dh, plus santa stuff right down to the last satsuma.... but still, it seems a ridiculous amount.
Anyone else gone this overboard, or am I crazy?
At least this should deter any twitches... shouldn't it??

No, no , no. YOU are wrapping dc's presents to each other and dh? Not on. Seriously, how can you deprive them all of the joys of unpicking screwed-up, taped-over corners of wrapping to find.

Yes, this is crazy, OP. Take a step back.

Duh!….to find the presents they picked for each other (I'm assuming you didn't do it all for them)

Howmanysleepstilchristmas · 09/12/2016 23:30

They "help" wrap the ones from them. But this is only actually helpful in the case of dd(9). The 3boys (3,4,11) only slow the process (and mess up the wrapping!)

No, they love choosing the presents... and wrapping them (with considerable assistance!)

I doubt I wrap 122 Xmas presents in 10 years. That's insane.

Arrowfanatic · 10/12/2016 08:49

That seems an insane number of gifts. Reckon I've done less than 40 & that's for my 3 kids, DH, my 3 siblings, 5 nieces/nephews and grandparents.

TeaBelle · 10/12/2016 08:50

I have 60 overall, 32 still left to go (1 dd)

TeaBelle · 10/12/2016 08:53

I don't mean all 60 for dd!! Just she's the biggest contributed to my stash!!

1 dd
1 dh
4 parents
2 siblings
4 cousins
3 great grandparents
2 miscellaneous acquaintances

Foxsox · 10/12/2016 09:43

I don't think it's insane.
I imagine we are probably close to that number too with varying costs from something being less than £1 (stocking item) to another being £40 perfume for mum
