Took my DC to meet FC at Wisley today. Pretty poor show for the price, I thought. FC was full of jokes aimed at the adults which were completely over the heads of pre schoolers.
DD's present was an Appen for tablets and smartphones. Is it just me or is that completely unsuitable for a child unless you already know that she has a tablet or smartphone to use it on? We don't have tablets and I'm not about to encourage DD (she's 3) to use my iPhone just so she can get some use out of a pen from Poundland with very poor AppStore reviews.
I get that they have to make a profit, but there's shedloads more suitable tat in Poundland 
Can't really complain about FC in front of the DC but I will be trying to find time for a trip back there to complain and hopefully get an exchange!
