Electronic/robot animals

My kids want hatchimals, I'm not sure they look like great toys beyond the hatching part though. They've had a furby and I'm looking at the Teksta animals. I have 3 boys so would like 3 different ones. Are they any good though?

Or should I just give in and get Hatchimals? Or the lastest furbies. They'd love to have toys that interact together but I'm not sure I want 3 furbies in the house!

I think you'd be extremely lucky to get your hands on three hatchimals at this time.

Ditto that getting hold of hatchimals will be a nightmare, plus they look rubbish! The teksta animals get good reviews though, there are a few different ones on Smyths at the moment (their robot toys are reduced atm too!)
I love love love the roboraptor too, do they like dinosaurs? I can't imagine any boys not liking those!

Dd2 had a teksta cat last year, it was tiny but she really liked it and does still get it out from time to time. Not bad as these things go.

We're in europe were they are still available. Apparently some people are selling them to America for $300!
