Gift ideas for a 16 yo Girl

I'm after help and inspiration please.
I'm after a nice little gift for my son's new girlfriend but I don't know many teenage girls and I'm not sure what to get.
She's very trendy and likes makeup etc, but I think she likes the expensive brands so I don't want to get something she'll think is naff or cheap.
Would like to get a gift rather than vouchers and thinking of spending around £30 - £50.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

How about a beauty box subscription? BIrchbox and Glossybox seem to be the top contenders.

Brand wise Kat Von D seems to be very big with trendy teenagers,
