Presents for parents

Hello mumsnetters! Christmas is coming up and i really don't have any idea what I could get for my parents as either a joint present or smaller separate presents. What would you parents say would be a perfect gift from your child this Christmas? All ideas are good ideas!

For me, my favourite presents are ones where I get to spend time with my dc so tickets for the cinema/theatre or a meal out but I'm happy with whatever they choose tbh.

My dad told us he didn't want anything as what he wants he can afford to buy so it's silly for us to buy things for him.
However I told him I had a perfect present this year and I would like to get it I told him and he's over the moon
I've got him tickets to take my son his eldest grand child to his first big rugby match they are going to see the local big team at the end of January

Pressed send to soon and for my mum I have got tickets for her and my eldest daughter to go and see the woman in black stage show

I got mine dinner bed and breakfast at a spa hotel and their good friends daughter got her parents the same so will be a lovely surprise & treat!

Present from your dc to grandparents - a photo frame with a nice picture of them in it? That always goes down well

From you - we bought IL's a sundial for their garden once, they loved it. Maybe something garden-related like a birdbath, nestbox or feeder - if they haven't got a garden you can buy bird feeders that attach to the outside of your window with suckers. MIL has one, and has robins and all sorts visiting hers.

I used Photobox to make my mum a 2017 diary full of pictures of her family. She relies heavily on her diary and she adores family photos, so I'm hoping she'll really like it. I'll also get her some pyjamas, she asks for them every year.

I've got my dad this, it arrived yesterday and looks fantastic. I'm never sure what to get him but this is something a bit different and he's obsessed with Spurs, so hopefully it'll go down well!
