Hey everyone,

I'm after a board game for Christmas Day that is fun and easy to play for the whole family. What's your favourite game??

Sorry. Really simple but gets quite competitive! My application aunt had it when we were kids and we spent hours playing it.

We like Smash Up, King of Tokyo and Creature Clash (OK Creature Clash is a card game). All quick and silly.

Taboo is pretty fun with a large group and I think a 7 year old could play with maybe a bit of rules relaxation.

Monopoly - we have the junior edition (kids are 6 & 8) but whole family play it and it's still great fun. I'd say yours are old enough for the full version. Also not quite a board game but I've bought this bingo set to play after dinner on Christmas Day, I reckon we'll all get a good laugh out of it and very little skill required!

We always go back to playing uno.

We also have a dice game called "tenzi"' each round is quite fast and the rules are pretty simple, it's kinda like Yahtzee/rummy

Not a board game, as it is a card game, but Pit is brilliant. Loads of fun for all ages, kids and older people love it alike. You will have a hoot.

Dixit is good fun and we have played with ages 79 to 8 and it was fun.

Camel up also looks fun, we got it for this year not played yet but excellent reviews, I wouldn't labyrinth is fun though.

Dobble. It's a faster / more complicated version of snap, and works for all ages.

Sushi Go is not exactly silly as it is a proper game, but it's really quick, fun and the cards are cute. And it can get a bit frantic when you don't get the cards you want.

Dobble wouldn't be good if he can't handle losing, as it has direct competition. And you can lose (potentially) every turn Confused
