Following as we have similar including 3yr and 1yr old. How is santa getting in?

blackteaplease · 02/12/2016 16:28

Can you put a string of lights around the mirror?

Nowthereistwo Santa has a magic key to get in the front doors of houses with no chimney.

80sMum · 02/12/2016 16:36

Get one of these and then put something pretty on it.

lovelilies · 02/12/2016 16:55

That's nice 80s, but £56!
On a tight budget this year.
Also I still think if I put the heater on, it would melt whatever's above it!

Yes to the magic key Wink
Will see what I can do with some lights. I miss my fireplace!! I have some lovely Christmas ornaments

Holly, ivy, tinsel etc over mirror. Spray paint the ivy for extra bling. Hang light ornaments off the holly twigs? If heater's on, you might have to replace every few days (except tinsel). Or get plastic?

Baubles on S hooks over the mirror?

frazzled74 · 03/12/2016 01:31

If you put a fake mantle across the chimney breast( out of tinsel/bunting) , hang a couple of stockings either side and have some fairy lights or candles nearby, I'm sure it will look very festive.

Chocolateteabag · 03/12/2016 17:23

Command hooks and hang stockings either side? You can get them from Wilkos (or their own version) and then can take them off afterwards
