Wide wrapping paper?

As anyone seen any extra wide wrapping paper anywhere? I have some pretty large boxes to wrap and am considering giving up and just sticking a bow on them!

Ooh I have def seen some somewhere, ridiculously large rolls (as in they were about as big as me height wise). Let me wrack my brains to see if I can remember where

Thank you! I am getting annoyed with myself. Contemplated cutting squares of paper and sticking them to the sides of the box but DH is super-anal about wrapping looking neat

Definitely at IKEA, if that's any good for you?

Shitonyoursofa · 13/11/2016 14:20

Pretty sure it was Poundland. Quick Google says that Tesco also does it, good luck!

BusStopBetty · 13/11/2016 14:20

Toy shops often have it, although the pattern choice may be fairly limited.

ikea have a green snowman one this year thats green background with white snowmen and a red/ (i think silver) santa one. its in extra wide extra long rolls and is really good quality. they also had a plain white one with a ribbed Blush pattern.

Avebury · 13/11/2016 15:10

Sainsbury's had some that was definitely wider than average yesterday

jennybean1890 · 13/11/2016 15:15

Toys r us I got some for the kiddies presents and home bargains for less child like ones, I'm super anal on wrapping too so I feel your pain!

loveliesbleeding1 · 13/11/2016 15:38

Just saw some in wilkos.

ByAllMeansMoveAtAGlacialPace · 13/11/2016 16:56

Ugh! I went to Wilkos today. Perhaps my area is the Bermuda Triangle of wide wrapping paper. Managed to order some from Tesco and used leftover points to pay for it. I hate the pattern but I don't suppose the kids will care that it doesn't match this years 'theme'. Thanks everyone!

Gah so the Tesco extra wide is not wide enough. Ffs. Need something longer than a metre. Why is this so difficult to find?

I bought a roll of wide wrapping paper from Primark for £2 a roll.

FoxInABox · 19/11/2016 22:28

I got some from matalan on 3 for 2 which was really wide

dementedpixie · 19/11/2016 22:29

I saw some in B&M

ITMama1 · 19/11/2016 22:30

I saw several different patterned extra wide rolls in the range yesterday. Would wrap up large boxes easily.

NecklessMumster · 19/11/2016 22:33

Costco does, if you have access to it

SoftSheen · 19/11/2016 22:34

John Lewis or Home Sense.

Palomb · 19/11/2016 22:35

Sainsburys do some about half as life again than normal wrap. It's only in the kids patterns through.

Palomb · 19/11/2016 22:35

Half as WIDE again 😫

Borka · 19/11/2016 22:39

I've used disposable tablecloths in the past for really large presents.

Haudyerwheesht · 19/11/2016 22:48

B&m

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 19/11/2016 23:31

Roll two rolls out side by side and sellotape them together.

MistressMolecules · 20/11/2016 00:05

Amazon do wide wrapping paper - I don't know how wide you have found so far but the first ones that pop up on a search on there are 99 cm by 3 m/5 m etc.

Bellabelloo · 20/11/2016 00:23

You can also buy plain kraft paper really cheaply in really wide rolls and then make pretty with extra wide ribbon tied in a bow. X
