Gift ideas for DM and DMiL

There are some brilliant suggestions for hard-to-buy-for men on here so I was hoping for some similar inspiration for hard-to-buy-for women.

My DM thinks she is the easiest person to buy for but she 's impossible because if there's something she wants she buys it herself! She loves golf, gardening, bike riding, reading, and a bit of cooking and baking.

My DMiL likes cooking/baking and walking.

Any suggestions of what I could buy for them please?

e.g. Gardeners World for DM. BBC Good Food for MIL.

If she really plays golf a lot there are loads of things you can get her. Depending on budget the Zepp golf swing analyser (sorry can't link but is on Amazon), I am getting one for DH , it looks really good. Also a bit pricey but good if she doesn't have one, a Garmin GPS watch. Cheaper things, a couple of nice gloves, Footjoy are very good, you can never have too many (maybe check she prefers a particular brand and don't buy from Amazon, golf online UK is much cheaper), likewise golf balls. Loudmouth golf UK have some good fun stuff (but good quality), that is a little different, such as an umbrella or belt.

Possibly a round and lunch for her and a friend at a different course. Or some lessons with a pro (if she wouldn't be offended!).

As you can see I have many years experience of golf related gifts......

My impossible-to-buy-for parents are each getting a bone china mug (from Kew Gardens shop so it supports a cause they will like) with an Amazon voucher for Kindle books. Not in the least exciting, but I know they'll be happy to choose a new book each, the mugs will get used, and I've done my bit . . .

I got some amazing gloves for my dm - they're leather with a really long cuff and called rose pruning gloves, great for all gardening jobs really. I've teamed them up with new secateurs but some nice rose scented soap or hand cream works too.
Subscriptions are also a sound gift - country living/gardeners world/house beautiful etc.

I'm toying with getting vouchers for afternoon tea for my notoriously difficult to buy for mum. Either that or just a couple of bottles of Prosecco and some posh chocs.
