I am pregnant, but don't have any children yet so have no idea what ages like what and really struggle with presents!

It is my nephew's birthday in a couple of weeks...and then obviously Christmas. So I need 2 presents! But they have moved to Africa as my brother is teaching out there, so it needs to be something small and lightweight to post...but still something that will earn me some good aunty points!! Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Thank you. X

How about some glove puppets? I've just bought a set of four by Melissa & Doug.

I'm a bit stuck otherwise. Could you maybe find out if there is an online company in the country they are in that you could order through? When we were in the US, friends ordered on Amazon U.S for our son.

An Aqua doodle! They do a travel one which is really light. I got my 2-year-old one for her birthday last week and she loves it.

Saxoflute is the best thing my ds had at 2. Not sure how the postage costs would work out, but it's a truly brilliant toy. (I've had to buy the bigger set of the same thing, called tubations for my kids-my 11 yo has played with these every day since his second birthday!)

Oh, I'm meant to say might be worth checking out Amazon South Africa?

Thanks everyone!! Will check those out!! They are in Kenya. Will see if there's an Amazon there. X
