Christmas cooking

My house is smelling lovely as I've just cooked my red cabbage to freeze ahead for Christmas. I added an orange and spices and there's a distinct Christmas smell in the air!

Oooh do you have a recipe please?

1 red cabbage
1 onion
1 cooking apple
1 small orange

Chop cabbage onion and apple,
Fry in olive oil and mix until it's all coated,
Add half a pint of stock, halved orange, salt pepper and nutmeg and all spice.
Dinner on a low heat for about 30 mins to an hour adding more stock if it starts to look a bit too dry.
Drain excess liquid and cool before freezing!

Hope it tastes yummy!

Simmer not dinner! Duh!!
