Quail?

I'm cooking Christmas dinner for 4 adults and 15mo DS
In the last we've a few different things for Christmas dinner. We've had boned and rolled turkey crown, gammon, fillet steak to name a few.
I've been looking through sainsburys and m&s Christmas food brochures and they are selling quail.
Sainsburys are part boned 4 quail for £10
M&s are 4 for £20

Seems like an easy option to me but I've never eaten it. Is one quail per person going to be enough or should I do another meat?
I could always do some chicken for DS - he won't know.

Quail are quite small, but if you're doing lots of "trimmings" then one each would be loads.

We are having a guinea fowl in a duck with pork stuffing from Sainsbury's. There's only 5 of us, and one is a vegetarian, so it seemed a good size, and there should be plenty of leftovers for sandwiches (the best bit!).
