i decided to make some new christmas tree decorations as i bought a new tree skirt and need to change the colour scheme to match it. i made them completely out of my own head and i am really thrilled. only 2 so far, but more to go, and consider i dont sew and have learnt to blanket stitch in order to make them then i am really pleased Grin

They look great!

Can someone please send me a link to the poncey thread? I can't see it I would see if I've accidentally hidden it? Confused

Oh they are just lovely!

I made some very similar eggs for my poncy Easter tree (sticks from the woods, in a £1.50 Ikea vase!). An egg shape with lace across the middle.

I'm glad you have discovered blanket stitch- it really is Christmassy and makes felt things look particularly lovely.
