Real Christmas tree scent?

We have a couple of fake trees, they look really good but obviously don't smell right. We're also in Australia at the moment so a real tree would (a) be horribly expensive and (b) probably spontaneously combust in the 40 degree heat we've had at previous Xmases.

Have any of you come across a good tree scent, whether candles, spray or whatever, one that doesn't smell like toilet cleaner!?

I think the ultimate is Sainsburys Christmas tree one 🎄. They do candles, reed diffusers and room sprays. Worth stockings up on if someone is visiting?

You can buy scent sticks to hang on the tree Cj0KEQjwnKzABRDy2pb7nPSazdsBEiQAI4lZQDGjC0bGI69s3xZlm0UtvO1l3n-QWfDMpVA8wekO48gaAsta8P8HAQ

You can also buy those sticks at John Lewis for about £6. They smell very Christmassy!

B and M have the Scentcicles in store for £3.99 at the mo.

Sorry, just read the op properly! That's no help to you in Australia!

2nd Sainsburys,it's gorgeous but not much use in Oz.Sad

I use 'Scentsicles' which hang on the tree. You can get them online so you should be able to get in Aus. Or there may be a retailer near you?
They smell very authentic and the fragrance lasts a long time.

Ahhh. Just seen Australia!!! Sorry Grin

Location isn't (much) of a problem, I can get my folks to send stuff out, if it's worth it and smells right. What's the Sainsbury Christmas tree one, is it literally Sainsbury own brand? And is it in stock yet? Awful as it seems, the Xmas shops are in full flow in department stores here, outrageous!

They are in ceramic pots and weigh a lot.
