Fitbit for children?

Wondering about getting 12 yo ds and 9yo Dd a Fitbit for Xmas . Any tips? Which one? Tia

DD is 14y and had one for a year. We know friends who have had them younger - 10/11y.

DD has the Charge HR.

I have a charge hr- think a 12 yo could get on well with it, though they need a smartphone to talk to. The shops are now stocking charge 2 - presumably new and improved.
