Hi all!! Need some advice on what posh Gin you would most appreciate to receive for a special Christmas gift?
This is for DPs DM....

Also on a side note, does anyone know when Marks and Spencers will start stocking the Sipsmith Lemon drizzle Gin? (Very much looking forward to that one myself) thanks

Hello, this thread is a little old now. Take a look at this handy page for a round up of Mumsnetters' favourite gins.

I have a funny feeling my thread has been rumbled by DPs lovely DM. One of the first things she told me yesterday is that she likes Tarquins Gin.

My all time favourite gin (after happily sampling literally hundreds at gin festivals over the years) is Liverpool Gin, but at £50 a bottle I have to resist the urge to drink it at the rate I'd like . They do valencian orange and rose versions which are lovely too

I'm trying to stick to local gins at the moment. Look at the botanicals listed as I hated Mason's gin as it was too aniseed for me. I do like Slingsby Gin from Harrogate though.

Gin Mare is nice. Adnams Copper House is also good - also Adnams First Rate Fine Gin is really smooth but hard to get hold of.

Isle of Harris gin-its brand new and delicious! And yes, the bottle is lovely!
