I've found you again!

Aldi toy event is on Thursday 27th October in Ireland, possibly similar in Uk. Judging by the tiny photo in store leaflet, they should have wooden train sets, road sets, doll house and furniture, playfood, etc.

Juliecloud · 13/10/2016 13:10

Bobthecob the octopod often goes cheap in the sainsburys toy sale. It was definitely reduced to £20 (from £40) one year.

gaggiagirl · 13/10/2016 13:18

jammie dodger gift set only £1 B&M is bloody marvellous this year.

gaggiagirl · 13/10/2016 13:19

The jammie dodger gift set comes in a nice big box it looks worth a lot more I bought the last one at my local shop today.

TryingtobePrepared · 13/10/2016 13:44

Beer Hawk advent calendar people - have you had yours yet?
Just wondering because I got a delivery notification from a delivery firm who said they were going to deliver that day. They then emailed to say the parcel had been delivered and that XXX had signed for it. This was not a name I recognised and no parcel had arrived (and no note was left). I have contacted the delivery firm twice but heard nothing. Beer Hawk have told me that the calendars aren't being despatched till the end of this month unless a later date was requested, and I'm sure I requested November dates (I ordered 3). So now I'm clueless and don't know if XXX has received my advent calendar or not!

eyebrowsonfleek · 13/10/2016 13:55

BicycleMadeForTwo Thank you!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 13/10/2016 14:35

Not good the poo cushion has been the bane of my life! The one ordered from China via Amazon disappeared off the face of the earth, so I was refunded for that. Ordered another, more expensive one from an eBay seller, it arrived and it's a bloody yellow emoji. They're being really difficult about sorting it out.

Muddlingalongalone · 13/10/2016 14:40

It's not much of a bargain compared with buying from Germany last year before gbp went into meltdown) but I've just had an alert that the silver maxi micro scooter has gone down to £85 on amazon via 3Rd party seller

RoastieToastieReastie · 13/10/2016 15:22

Mn is being really weird for me this afternoon. My 'I'm on threads' are up to date for a couple of weeks ago but nothing since then. Maybe it's just me.

Went shopping today but alas no huge bargains spotted.

I still haven't received my blow up reindeer antler game from Amazon yet, but chase that up.

Has anyone seen this year's musical M&S biscuit tin this year yet? Is it a good'un?

RJnomore1 · 13/10/2016 15:23

It's not just you reastie there's a few threads in site stuff and mnhq are on it.

Miastar · 13/10/2016 15:28

Thank you Mudd I managed to get one for £99 which is still cheaper than £130 direct Smile

CarrotVan · 13/10/2016 15:30

NotGood - either B&M or Home Bargains had poo emoji cushions for £3.99 last week

longtimelurker2008 · 13/10/2016 16:03

I'm wondering if anyone knows the most bargainous place to buy jellycat bunnies?

monkeyfacegrace · 13/10/2016 16:20

I'm cross.

Had my led trainers arrive from Aliexpress and they are stuck on! Can't get them to bloody turn off at all, let alone change colour etc.

Anyone know how easily things get sorted via that website?

Thanks.

BrollySmolly · 13/10/2016 16:25

I need to buy some adidas superstar trainers for my teen. Does anyone know of any codes for office, JD, footasylum etc?? Thanks

CandyMcJingles · 13/10/2016 16:25

I've been to B & M and a lovely chap searched high and low to find me a light box but Alex there was none, I did however get amazing Elf (the movie) pjs for me for 9.99, they were the last pair, and peppa pig Christmas pjs for DD for 4.99.
In tesco I got a bottle of monin caramel syrup from he coffee aisle for DHs Christmas Eve box for £3 - it's his favourite and it's much cheaper than buying the minititure sets. Might be a good stocking filler idea for others? They had vanilla as well.

QueenOfFuckAll · 13/10/2016 16:35

Monkey you can communicate with the seller directly about the issue. Not sure if you will have any luck though. Returning items is usually more than they cost originally so I only ever buy stuff that I would not be too upset to bin if awful.

QueenOfFuckAll · 13/10/2016 16:37

Three hype bags arrived today. It would have cost them more to post it than I paid for them I think. Only two bags of Haribo though. Grr Wink

Thank you to the original poster FlowersFlowersFlowers

MrsCrimbo74 · 13/10/2016 16:46

Again for the person wanting Star Trek bits, Hawkin Bazaar are doing this Haynes push out and build manual of the USS Enterprise for £6.99

IsItGinTimeYet · 13/10/2016 16:46

I am the same Reastie, I had to hunt you lot down again! Xmas Wink

Donthate · 13/10/2016 16:48

Not strictly a bargain but for anyone looking for speak out I got one in my local Tesco Express today. They had lots in stock.

IsItGinTimeYet · 13/10/2016 16:53

Pound World (the blue one) had great buys earlier.
Slipper socks - quite thick and decent quality - Olaf, Sven, Anna and Elsa.
Game of thrones, Starwars and Shopkins mugs in boxes.
20 cones for snowman soup (under the guise of icing bags).
Fbreeze winter garden and krispy Kreme candles.

All good stocking fillers.
