frazzled thank you for body shop code. Havent used their products for years, but for those sort of prices I had to buy something Grin

OutwardBound2016 · 12/10/2016 16:20

Isitgin, Ikea do a lovely spotty china tea set, it doesn't come in a basket though, I think it's about £7

Theimpossiblegirl · 12/10/2016 16:37

Aha! Found you.
Loads of bargains in B&M today, worth popping in if you're passing.

stealthsquiggle · 12/10/2016 16:48

IsitGin - tea sets - have you looked at tin ones? I had several of these, bought at bargain prices during some sale or other. I actually just went and checked the present cupboard because all the DC I know have outgrown them and you could have had it, but none left (2 baking sets and a china Ikea tea set, though, for anyone interested!)

this one looks nice too, and a bit cheaper, but I am fairly sure I paid less than £10 for the ones I had.

stealthsquiggle · 12/10/2016 16:49

Smyths have the same set for £9.99

smellylittleorange · 12/10/2016 16:50

Can I mention not a present as such but a dining set tkmaxx Sophie Conran Christmas Dining Set 60% off

Also up to 82% off on Villeroy and Boch

I have ordered a large platter for the Turkey and a single Sophie Conran plate

Soupandasandwich · 12/10/2016 17:01

Not sure if this has already been mentioned already but I've just got home from work and had to pop in to Tesco on the way home. I saw they had a big pack of 30 Sharpie pens for £8.00. When I was in there a week or so ago they were £22.
Apologies if it's already been mentioned.

d270r0 · 12/10/2016 17:12

Not a bargain- but remember to check the serial number on any new £5 notes- any starting AA are selling on ebay for lots- might make a bit of extra Christmas money!

mrslebon · 12/10/2016 17:25

Yep, a fiver with an AA serial number sold for £870 recently! I got £15 for one of mine although it was an AK serial number.

Ladybunnyfluff · 12/10/2016 17:34

Received my Hype bag today, I love it and it's going to be my hospital baby bag. It was an absolute bargain at £3.75 but would be still very worthwhile purchase at £10 etc.

SestraClone · 12/10/2016 17:40

My Hype bag also arrived today along with the free pack of Haribo!

LavateLasManos · 12/10/2016 17:45

Was in Poundworld (the blue one) earlier and spotted Breaking Bad mugs (Heisenberg cartoon face and "I am the one who knocks" style) and GoT mugs too in the various house sigils, Valar Morghulis quote and the GoT logo too.

lookingforbaubles · 12/10/2016 17:58

has any one seen star trek stocking fillers about?

im struggling to find anything!

woodwaj · 12/10/2016 18:08

My hype bag arrived today...they sent me the wrong one! Doh! They have quickly sent me a returns label but i want an exchange now the code has been pulled. I might just keep it :)

breakfastbap · 12/10/2016 18:13

LavateLasManos · 12/10/2016 18:13

Gooseysgirl · 12/10/2016 18:19

Also waiting for my Red goody bag, but 28 days is not up yet for me... I think I ordered mine before I posted the original link! Popped in to Primark on my lunch break today and picked up a Paw Patrol lip balm (pink Sky tube) as a stocking filler for DD. Also picked up matching Xmas PJs for the DC £4 each.

SingaporeSlinky · 12/10/2016 18:46

Argos have the Leapfrog Leapbands in green or pink reduced from £29.99 to £13.99

Snooky17 · 12/10/2016 18:47

The Flip-a-Zoo toy is now £15 in the entertainer here

RoastieToastieReastie · 12/10/2016 19:17

I twitched and bought the colouring book even though I really don't need it.

I'm here amymumsnet! Just sticking with the holding thread as it goes so quick.

Theimpossiblegirl · 12/10/2016 19:20

I have 2 AA £5 notes! They are in an envelope with an old £5 MIL had stashed away (not the recent ones, a really old one) and one of the 'normal' ones that was fresh from a cashpoint a few months back, so a set of 3.
Am I rich?

SpecialK24 · 12/10/2016 19:21

I just realised how cute happyland toys are and have decided we NEED them in our house!! When is the best time to buy? Now at half price or 3for2?

APocketfulOfStars · 12/10/2016 19:22
