Christmas trees

I am looking for a good quality Christmas tree. I would like it to look rather full and bushy, without too much space between the branches.
Ideally I don't want to be spending a lot of money as for the last two years my cat has destroyed my trees. The problem is the branches are on very flimsy wires and when she climbs it they bend. (She is a bit on the chunky side)( yes I have tried to stop her climbing all to no avail).

Can anyone help me find a good tree please?

We got a basic 8ft tree from Argos for about £60. But it is basic - by the time we cover it with lights, ornaments, and tinsel, it won't matter how basic the tree is.

As far as the cat is concerned, we used to have a cat (years ago) that loved climbing in the tree. One year we finally decided to stop the climbing - put the tree up a week early. Tin foil all across the floor under the tree, and blown up balloons in the tree. The cat hated the feel of the tin foil, so avoided under the tree, and ended up popping a few balloons when trying to climb the tree. After a few days, the cat wasn't interested in the tree anymore. Felt a bit mean, but I had glass ornaments on the tree, and not only didn't I want them broken, but there was a good possibility that if they broke because the cat pulled over the tree, the cat stood a good chance of being injured as well.
