Stocking fillers under £1

Thanks to everyone for the amazing bargains. Apologies if a thread like this has already been started but as my children are getting older I am finding that most stocking fillers cost way more than they used to. There have been some great ideas throughout the threads and I wondered if anyone has ideas for fillers that are around the £1 or under mark? My children are 6 and 9. I am finding that I can't find lots of things from poundland for my son (9) anymore as I always have in the past. I bought a lot in Hawkin last year e.g their prank sachets, which were very gratefully received...

Hi, do you have a tiger near you? It's Danish sort- of pound shop but they do some cool stuff.

Cheaper stocking items get harder as the kids get older but last year I put in a couple of hot chocolate sachets which went down well. £1 for 4 in tescos

Bath bomb or there were some graze boxes in tesco for £1 today which I thought were good

Gel pens always go down well or I saw those scratch art bookmarks and fridge magnets for £1 online somewhere yesterday, will see if I can find them. Match attacks cards

These ideas are great. Thank you. I got some very cheap gel pens from the works if anyone is looking. A graze box is a brilliant idea. My son loves feeling grown up.

TQ toys was the site for cheap scratch art. Also nice to get some cheap body spray/anti perspirant, shower gel etc (especially if you normally have 'family' ones, nice to have a pre teen type one xx

Tiger has some fantastic stuff! Lots of the things for that age group more like £2 (crystal gardens, finger lights, snow globes, craft stuff, disco bulbs and wands, glo-sticks) but still cheap and fun. And Hawkins still has the end of a sale on with some of the stocking filler things being 99p.

Just been stocking fillers shopping today for my 6 and 9 year old. I got some of those milkshake straws (where you drink milk through the straw and it flavours the milk) 39p a packet in B&M. Also from B&M I got chocolate coins and chocolate sprouts, candy canes, some lynx shower gel and some adidas body spray. In Tiger I got a pen in the shape of a dog, some cute little notebooks a small shut the box game and a small tiddlywinks game. I will also be getting them some gloves (the ones with the fingers that you can use smartphones with), a toothbrush (a character one) and some slipper socks.

Actually there are quite a few nice things in the Superdrug Flutter range reduced to £1 at the mo, incl. bath confetti, notebook, lip balm etc.

If they're into Pokemon Go there were some cheap badges, hats and bits and bobs on one of the earlier Christmas bargain threads...

There are lots of other ideas on them too if you're able to spend some time going through them!

Aliexpress would be my go to site for stuff like stocking fillers. Just so many things, toys, stationary, badges (enamel, pin and iron on), craft supplies. And still lots of time for delivery.

When my dc were small I used to rip off and squirrel away any free things on the front of magazines without them noticing. They always went in their stockings

I have learnt it's better to spend a bit more on stockings so the contents last beyond new year! My dd is 7 (nearly 8) for her will be buying
